- I hope this is the right newsgroup for this question. I am in need of help
- from a network guru.
-
- I'm trying to connect a WordPerfect X.400 gateway for Retix X.400 OpenServer.
- The problem is whenever I send anything via the WordPerfect X.400 gateway to
- another network gateway that uses X.400 addressing schemes, it comes in an
- address that I can't reply to. (In this case, it's a CCMail to X.400 gateway.)
-
- I went through WordPerfect tech support for several days before finally
- giving up. But my gut finds it incredibly unlikely that a gateway from
- a company like WordPerfect would overlook a problem like this.
-
- Here's the addressing scheme the WordPerfect X.400 gateway recognizes for
- our system:
-
- WPX400:"c= US,a=<some admd>, p=<some prmd>, o=wpgate, dt=wpmail, dv=host(uid)"
-
- The address that the other network gateways receives is:
-
- /c=us, /a=<some admd>, /p=<some prmd>, o=wpgate, /s=uid
- When I reply using this address, the WordPerfect gateway doesn't recognize
- it and gives an error saying something like "Ambiguous or unrecognize
- O/R name." in the Non-Delivery Report of CCMail.
-
- I was wondering if anyone has been successful in connecting WordPerfect
- Office X.400 gateway for X.400 Retix OpenServer with anything like CCMail.
- If so, please share your successful configuration with me.
-
- Thanks a lot,
- Joanna
