  13. We will be designing a product with a Centronics Parallel
  14. port on it.  I have a few questions regarding what exactly
  15. a Centronics Parallel port is:

  17.      1.  Is there a standard (such as EIA-232 for RS-232)?
  18.          If so, what is it and how do I get it?
  19.      2.  Or, is it a de facto industry standard?  If so, where
  20.          do I find a definitive definition of pinout and
  21.          signal timing?
