- My father writes books on his laptop--period--but his eyes are in need of a
- better display for long work sessions. He's planning to buy a cheap PC of
- some sort (speed simply doesn't matter) but I want him to get a *great*
- monitor.
-
- I'm not a PC user so I don't know what choices there are running WordStar
- under DOS. He's not interested in learning a new program or Windows. Can
- he increase the size and clarity of the characters? Would a 16" screen
- make sense? 19"?
-
- I don't have time to learn everything in the world about PC monitors--so if
- you can tell me the basics about resolutions, refresh rates, major gotchas,
- etc. and/or recommend a monitor please send me email, to fad1@think.com.
-
- Many thanks!
