- what they are talking about are MANUFACTURERS of BIOS. AMI and Phoenix and
- Award are different sources for bios, as is IBM, should you have one of
- their machines 8>. AST, Siemens, and other companies sometimes
- purchases/licenses BIOS source fom these companies and from there modify
- the code to their own likes.
