  13. I can't seem to be able to do this ... and it's getting quite frustrating.

  15. I've installed the drive and controller into a 386 with an AMI bios. I've 
  16. identified the drive parameters and set them accordingly in the CMOS 
  17. settings (using type 47 - user defined). I keep getting 'drive error' on 
  18. bootup. If I choose a drive type that has the same number of heads but less 
  19. cylinders and sectors it boots up fine and I'm able to format it. Problem 
  20. is, it's a 150MB drive (162MB unformatted) and I'm not about to settle for 
  21. the 102MB that I'm getting. There's gotta be a better way!
