  13. Hi, I seem to have problem with my V185 Priam/Vertex RLL drive
  14. (1166 cyl, 7 head, 26 sec) and the OMTI8257 RLL controller.

  16. It makes rattling noise when it gets hot, otherwise, it is perfect..
  17. The noise it makes like the thing is about to blow up :_)
  18. I am using speedstor and formated to 1024 cyl only..
  19. I can run Spinwrite perfectly..

  21. My question is, is it worth it to repair ($140) the drive??
  22. Who own Priam/Vertex, and may I have their number if you have please :-)
