- I just got a teac FD-55GFR to replace a really screwed up floppy
- drive and I'm having problems with the new drive also.
- I assume its just a matter of getting the jumpers right.
-
- The problem is the spindle doesn't always spin when the drive
- is accessed. The motor spins whenever I try to boot into DOS
- or Linux, but once I'm into the OS whenever I try to access the
- floppy drive it doesn't spin and thus gives errors.
-
- Anyone have the jumper settings for the solution to my problem?
