  11. I just got a teac FD-55GFR to replace a really screwed up floppy
  12. drive and I'm having problems with the new drive also.
  13. I assume its just a matter of getting the jumpers right.

  15. The problem is the spindle doesn't always spin when the drive
  16. is accessed.  The motor spins whenever I try to boot into DOS
  17. or Linux, but once I'm into the OS whenever I try to access the
  18. floppy drive it doesn't spin and thus gives errors.

  20. Anyone have the jumper settings for the solution to my problem?
