- Well, they don't actually have a "BIOS". And, remember: the IDE
- controller is on the _disk_, not the adapter card! Tha card is just
- there to help the drive cable and the PC bus to meet each other. Also,
- IDE controllers are usually interpreting, meaning that if you set drive
- type 17, the drive will work with that size even though it's internal
- layout was way different from the type 17 layout. Some drives require to
- be set to drive type 47 (= user selectable values) to work, but most of
- them will work with a similar sized setup option (to my knowledge.)
