- Hi all. I have not used a PC in years so I could use some help selecting
- a notebook. Here are some things I would like to see in it:
-
- + 486 DX at 33MHz or 50Mhz
- + 150M internal drive or better
- + Mono or Greyscale active matrix display
-
- I am not sure if you find active matrix in non-color systems. All I saw
- at CompUSA was active color.
-
- I will be running UNIX on this and, eventually, NeXTSTEP 486. I would
- like the system to support the following add ons:
-
- + High speed modem (v.42bis, external or internal)
- + Ethernet adapter
- + External drive
-
- I think I could use at least 300M of disk. I know HP has some really small
- drives now. have any notebook manufacturers started using them?
-
- Thanks in advance,
- -Mike
