  13. Hi all. I have not used a PC in years so I could use some help selecting
  14. a notebook. Here are some things I would like to see in it:

  16.    + 486 DX at 33MHz or 50Mhz
  17.    + 150M internal drive or better
  18.    + Mono or Greyscale active matrix display
  19.  
  20. I am not sure if you find active matrix in non-color systems. All I saw
  21. at CompUSA was active color.
  22.  
  23. I will be running UNIX on this and, eventually, NeXTSTEP 486. I would
  24. like the system to support the following add ons:
  25.  
  26.    + High speed modem (v.42bis, external or internal)
  27.    + Ethernet adapter
  28.    + External drive
  29.  
  30. I think I could use at least 300M of disk. I know HP has some really small
  31. drives now. have any notebook manufacturers started using them?
