- The 16C450 is a 16450 as far as you're concerned. It's not going to
- cause any problems under just DOS, but if you're trying to multitask
- at high speeds under Windows, you may lose characters.

- The C is CMOS. 82C50 is CMOS 8250, 80C186 is CMOS 80186. It's low
- power, usually used for laptops.
