- I'm not sure about the 486 problem. Parity errors are generated through the
- NMI interrupt line. You may either be having problems with that signal, or,
- you may be having problems with one of your memory SIMMs. If you've
- recently changed any of your internal memory configuations, you might cause
- problems if you changed refresh rates.

- As for the 386, check the manual on the motherboard. It should give you
- a list of "beep codes" to check out.
