  12. I'm using an INMAC Clear Signal 1200 Modem (External).
  13. It has 8 dip switches.  Does anyone know what they stand for?
  14. I understand that it is NOT the same as the Hayes Smartmodem.

  16. Also, does anyone know how to set the modem to reflect TRUE
  17. carrier status?  It appears to be set to on as a default.
