  17.      I was wondering if someone out there could help me.  I recently bought
  18. a used accelerator card for my old (1988) Leading Edge Model D2. (IBM XT comp.)
  19. The card is an ORCHID TINY TURBO 286.  I believe the 286 is running at 8 Mhz.
  20. The problem is that the guy I bought it from did not have any manuals.
  21. ( I know, it was really stupid to buy it.)  He said it came in the 8088 that he
  22. took it out of.

  24.      Now to my question.  Is anyone familiar with this card?  I can't get it
  25. to work.  Could someone tell me what each of the jumpers stands for?  There are
  26. two sets of jumpers.  The first set is at the top of the card.  They have 5 Mhz
  27. and 8 Mhz next to them.  I guess these tell what speed your 8088 runs.  The
  28. second set is at the bottom right of the card, right next to the metal back.
  29. There are five of them. They are labeled W1 through W5.  There is also a two
  30. position switch that is on the metal that is at the back of the card.  It has
  31. an open spot for a chip next to the 286 CPU.  I assume that it is for a 286
  32. math co-processor.  Also there is an 8088 CPU on a raised mini-board.  Is this
  33. supposed to be there or is it the CPU from his 8088?  Am I supposed to put my
  34. CPU there?  The cable that has the attachment to connect into the CPU's old
  35. place on the motherboard is right next to this raised mini-board.

  37.      Can someone help me get it to work in my machine?  I'll appreciate ANY
  38. help I can get.  I just might be able to get enough different ideas to get it
  39. to work.
