- I will soon be getting a 486-33 and I am trying to settle on the best
- graphics card for my needs. I plan on running my new system under
- OS/2 2.0, and I am a flight simulator freak, so I want fast graphics.
- I do NOT plan on running Windows, so I will not benefit from cards
- that only accellerate Windows.
-
- I am currently looking at getting something in the Diamond
- Speedstar/Stealth line, but I want more info.
-
- Are all the "accelerated" graphics cards simply VGA cards with Windows
- accelerators on them? Are there any cards that accelerate graphics
- overall? Which ones are they? I have heard rumors that the Diamond
- Speedstar 24x will accelerate all graphics (not just Windows); is
- this true?
-
-
- Please email any info or suggestions.
-
- Thanks
