- PC-Magazine did a comparison of several QIC-80 format drives
- including the Colorado DJ-20, and the DJ-20 was the only drive in
- the the lot to pass all the tests for QIC-80 compatability.
-
- Yes, the Jumbo 250 is the DJ-20.
-
- I have used the DJ-20 for about 4 months now and I highly recommend
- it for ease of installation and use. One quirk though. When it is
- used with an Adaptec 1542B or other bus master controller, you need
- to make sure the bus on timing is no longer that 4ms, otherwise the
- drive will get lost and generate errors and resets. For the
- adaptec, this means adding a /N4 to the ASPI4DOS.SYS line in the
- config.sys file.
-
- Hope this helps...
