- I have about 1500 to spend, will run primarily Windows,word-processing
- and some statistical analysis and graphing etc.
- I am thinking 386-40, 486sx-25 or 486dx-33. The problem with the latter being
- it is possibly a little more expensive than my budget. I can always upgrade with
- the 25sx later and its prices are a steal. Any advice would be appreciated.
- Finally, have been reading computer shopper and see some great buys. Are the
- less expensive direct order companies reputable? Example Dee One Systems.
- And does anyone have experience with vcom or occidental?
