- I'm looking for some freely available software to test a page scanner.
- It's an IS-300 (allegedly a lone of the Canon IX-12 scanner) hooked up
- to a JLaser card. We got the scanner for a bargain basement price from
- California Digital, but the scanner came only with a couple of driver
- files - none of the driver files or test software mentioned in the
- scanner's manual was included. I suppose this is to be expected with
- closeout hardware, but we still need something with which to test this
- baby out and make certain it's working. A simple program which would
- tell the scanner to scan in a document and save it as a GIF or TIF or
- PCX file would be just fine. Anyone with any leads please email me.

- Thanks very much!
