- I don't think it was Intel's intention that the DX should be plugged
- into the 486SX's socket, so I think there would be some differences in
- pinout. I imagine it wouldn't cause a short circuit, but it might just
- not work if you tried it.

- make a motherboard that could take a 486DX or 487DX slot, with perhaps
- a dip switch change...
