- I once bought a harddisk at the same time my friend with an AT did.
- (We walked over to the shop and told them "two of these please")
- Anyway, I formatted mine on my XT using the g c800:5 command in debug.
- This didn't work for my friend's AT (there's no extended bios on an AT
- I know now) Anyway, one of the solutions we tried is to LowLevel format
- it on my XT and then plug it into the AT. The AT wasn't able to
- do anything with it. No performance penalty: It just didn't work.
