- hello,
-
- Am I correct in thinking that local bus *does not* obsolete EISA?
- From looking at ads, one gets the impression that the two (local bus and EISA)
- are mutually exclusive, but ISA is nasty, and I have yet to see more than
- 2 local bus slots on a MB.
-
- Does anyone know of a motherboard that has:
-
- 50 MHz 486DX
- EISA peripheral bus
- VESA local bus
- processor upgradeability to P5 (or at least to Intel's next 486 Overdrive)
- 128k-256k external processor cache
- motherboard support for 16Mb SIMMs, 64Mb on board min.
-
- thank you for your time,
-
