- The subject says exactly what I want to do. The man page for xdb
- does have a section on "Data Viewing and Modification Commands". But
- there is no command to modify data described there at all. dbx has
- "assign" to do that. How is it done for xdb? A debugger that
- doesn't allow changing value interactively seem to have only limited
- use. If this cannot be done with xdb, is there a public domain
- interactive debugger I can get? Maybe dbx? I am trying to debug a
- FORTRAN program on HP 705 workstation running HP UX 8.07. Please reply
