- The HP elm is a variant of 2.01 alpha (or something like that) from
- before Dave Taylor passed of elm to the current PD development group.
- YHP (a division of HP) made it "more user friendly" and then it became
- part of the HP-UX product. It has not been updated to track the PD
- version which has evolved significantly since then in reliability.
