- We have many, many customers who need to support 5.25" diskettes for
- CNC type applications. Some of these customers are looking at
- upgrading to the 7xx series platforms....
-
- After doing a little research, I have come to find that although I
- can add a eisa-based HP-IB card to a 720, the 9127 5.25" diskette
- drive is not supported. Along with a whole list of other stuff.
-
- WHY ARENT MY FLOPPY DRIVES SUPPORTED? WHEN WILL THEY BE SUPPORTED?
-
- I just missed selling two 720's because the damn floppy drives arent
- supported on the eisa-based HP-IB.
-
-
- Does anyone have any pointers to SCSI-based 5.25" floppy drives?
-
-
- Yes, I know that the 3.5" drives are supported on scsi. The point
- here is that the shops that our CNC drivers run have $500,000US CNC
- machines (multiples of them) that use *** 5.25" *** floppy drives...
-
-
- Ideas any one...?
