- I recently purchased an HP500C printer for my Amiga and have been
- playing around with printing on it using the printer driver I managed
- to find somewhere.
-
- However, my question concerns the escape sequences dealing with the
- graphics modes on the printer. I was playing around this weekend to
- see if I could print some rectangular grid for purposes of making one
- or more forms.
-
- I managed to get it to do so, but only one "raster" line at a time.
- Quite wasteful. I would like to print, what, eight or nine "rasters"
- at a time, to reduce the print head passes on the paper. All I have to
- work with is the table in Appendix B in one of the books that came with
- it. I tried the compression modes, but I couldn't figure out how they
- worked.
-
- Can anybody help me? I'm just sending a file containing the escape
- sequences and data to the printer from my computer. That should work
- fine, as long as I can find the right sequences to do what I want.
-
- Thanx,
- Chris
