  15.     Hi.  I couldn't find a FAQ for this group, but I imagine this is one:
  16. What's the cheapest/simplest way to transfer ASCII files from a C64 to an
  17. IBM compatible machine?  My C64 is on its last legs, and I want to move all
  18. those papers I did from SpeedScript to a more widely compatible ASCII, PC disk
  19. format.  I know how to make the Speedscript files ASCII, but not how to
  20. transfer them.  I don't particularly want to buy software that I am only going
  21. to use once, but I will, if I have to.  I have a good understanding of
  22. the C64 ins and outs, if needed.
