- Wow, am I amazed. The first person to pick up the phone at Digital Solutions
- knew that Paperback Writer would fail if a 6526 was replaced by a 6526A! She
- claimed that the 6526 had a bug in it that the 6526A fixed, and that they had
- inadvertently depended on that bug. They offered to replace my disk for $13
- (which seems a bit high considering I didn't damage it) with
- a version that doesn't depend on the 6526 bug. Those Canadians not only
- know how to write a fantastic word processor, they provide knowledgeable
- support 6 years after the sale!
-
- I'm still in the market for an unprotected version and would be glad to provide
- proof of purchase and any reasonable copying/mailing costs. Please email me
- if you can help.
-
- Sincerely,
- Frank Prindle
