  10. I've got a C-64 here with some problems.
  11. When I power it up,  I get the following: "?OUT OF MEMORY ERROR IN 0"

  13. If I do a "?FRE (I)",  I get -621 back.  Obviously there is either a
  14. memory problem,  or a ROM problem.

  16. According to my ancient copy of the Commodore Diagnostician,  I should
  17. check my RAMs.  Anyone else had this problem before?  Did it indeed turn
  18. out to be a RAM chip? Any hints on diagnosing/replacing individual RAM
  19. chips in a C-64.

  25. P.S.  Yes,  I did check my power supply.  First thing.  It's just fine. 
  26. However,  this is a new power supply and an old console.  I just bought
  27. the console (without PS) recently.  So the old PS may have went bad and
  28. took out some chips.  Don't know that for sure,  but it's a possibility.
