- Let's be clear here. Your apply power, move the power switch to ON,
- then both the POWER and DIAG lights remain lit? Make sure that
- the power light is not flashing in a repeating pattern. This is
- what the 3B2 does when it concludes that the console is dead, or it
- can't get to the point where it can display SELF CHECK.

- Assuming that you get solid POWER and DIAG, try waiting a minute
- or so, then hit the reset switch (in rear on 3B2/300,310,400).
- If the floppy drive spins briefly, this is a good sign. Check
- the console serial connection with a $10 RS232 LED breakout box.
- You should see signal on Txmt and DTR.
