- I've been noticing Spectre GCR handling the serial port very nicely
- at 2400 baud with xon/xoff, but completely wiping out at 9600 baud +.
- Since the ST/STe itself has problems at high speed, which is corrected
- by using RTS/CTS and patch programs like TURBOCTS and SERIALFX, the
- question is can I get Spectre to recognize these patches? I tried setting
- this up in ST mode first and this seemed to make no difference.
-
- The general corollary of this is can Spectre recognize and use any of
- the various patch programs that are set up in ST mode? Does Spectre
- map Mac toolbox stuff into calls to ST BIOS, XBIOS calls or does it
- just write straight to the hardware?
