  11. We had a discussion on the news about this earlier, but now that
  12. an entirely new version of the operating system is to come out soon,
  13. I would like to repeat this:

  15.   Atari should introduce the WM_NEWTOP message in the multi tasking
  16.   system (if they haven't already). Someone at Atari, as I suppose it
  17.   went, misunderstood the potential meaning of this message: you're
  18.   supposed to get it when ANY window was topped; not by the user
  19.   (by clicking on the window), but by wind_set(WF_TOP). Also, it is
  20.   assumed that the contents of a window do not change with its status,
  21.   be this background/foreground or changing size. Example: in new TOSes
  22.   when you make a window bigger, you will only get redraw messages for
  23.   the parts that weren't visible already. I think this is WRONG.
