- There is also a U.S. product (well at least I think it's from the U.S. :)
- called DVT VCR which has been out for a _long_ time which allows hard
- drive backup to VHS videocassette. I think it gives something like 20 megs
- per hour or so. Perhaps videocassette recorders are less common in Europe
- and so such a device is a new item there -- I know that DVT VCR has been
- sold in the U.S. probably since hard drives really became a big item for
- STs.

- Oh, you mentioned a SCART connector, that is what most European video
- equipment is capable of using, right? The DVT VCR is for U.S. video stuff
- and so has two RCA-type jacks, one to plug into the VCR's video input, one
- to the audio input.
