  10. There is a recent discussion about tape drives for the Atari. Because of
  11. the high list price I was lloking for an alternative. At the Atari Fair in
  12. Dusseldorf I found it. It was a pitty they where not yet in production
  13. but I ordered one anyway. It is a video streamer. It uses a standard VCR
  14. which has to be equiped with a scart connector as backup device. It backups
  15. 600 Mb on a E240 tape. So about 2.5 Mb per minute. It can make image backups
  16. as well as file backups and restores visa versa. I don't have the address of
  17. the German company on hand. If anyone wants some more info, drop me a mail.

  19. BTW the listprice of the device, which connects on the parallel port, is about
  20. DM249,- which is at the current ratio about $180,-
