- a) the Seagate ROMS (296N anyway) have a problem... You must set all drives
- in a system to an EVEN id to prevent problems, I've combined 296n(s) using IDs
- of 0,2 and 2,4 with no problems. I got "the cure" via Tech. Info. at ICD.

- b) the Seagate 296n drives I use are MUCH faster at 2:1 interleave. I'd
- reccomend you leave the interleave at 2:1 for now. If you want to test 1:1,
- be prepared to change it back! Again... this is a ROM problem, but I know of
- an update (by Seagate) to fix this. Don't see any socketed ROMs on my 296n
- though... so I live w/o the fix.
