  13. I use mint + minix on my harddisk. I wonder what good method there is
  14. to make backups of my disk. The regular TOS programs won't work
  15. because they cannot handle longer filenames and links etc.

  17. I would use simply gnutar to /dev/ps0, and with incremental tar's this
  18. would be feasible were it not that I produce multivolume tar's in that
  19. case. I do not like this idea because to restore something on say the
  20. 5th diskette I must read all previous ones than, with the risk that if
  21. somewhere on one of the backups is wrong the rest of the backup is
  22. unusable.
