- About a year ago, I went through the somewhat ardous task of buying and
- hooking up a muli-sync to my ST. There are 3 models I can name off the top
- of my head, and all are good monitors:
- NEC 3D, Acer 7013, Loop CT1458
- Both the NEC and the Acer are 800x600 norm and 1024x768 interlaced models,
- while the Loop is a 1024x768 NON_interlaced. All can be had for either
- $250-$400. And, yes, the monitor MUST support a 15.75 scan rate (why is
- that ridiculous?!) There are several multi-sync connectors on the market
- that will also switch modes for you - the most common are: Ominix-3,
- OmniSwitch, ToadSwitch, and the Ultra-Switch - I bought the Loop - good
- luck!
