- Kermit is probably to blame here. It assumes a transfer is in text
- format unless you call it with -i (image) mode. So, either do that, or better
- yet, use x/y/z(best) modem to transfer to your machine.

- There is always a warranty. If there are bugs, you get the updates
- (usually for free) when they come out. This is not the case if it is merely
- an upgrade (ie just newer features). Updates usually come in the form of
- patches that are lauched at boot time (you put then in a folder "auto" and it
- runs these at boot time).

- My advice would be to buy one as soon as they are available. If
- possible, make an advance order as they are likely to sell out the first ship-
- ment soon after introduction. (Atari isn't particularly known for having
- large quantities on demand :( )
