  14. Hi all EMACS fans

  16. Finally someone could help me to dump EMACS 18.58. the solution to
  17. the problem is the following
  18.  
  19.   1. rename the directories e-bin, e-lisp, e-etc to bin, lisp, etc
  20.      (unser tcsh use mv 'e-bin' bin etc)
  21.  
  22.   2. set the environment varialbes as follows
  23.  
  24.          UNIXMODE to whatever they said it should be,
  25.          EMACSLOADPATH to /dev/X/bin
  26.          EMACSLIB to /dev/X/lisp
  27.          EMACSDOC to /dev/X/etc
  28.   
  29.      where X is the drive and directory you keep the directory tree
  30.      of EMACS
  31.  
  32.   3. Make sure that you have at least 2.7 mega bytes free on the 
  33.      partition you dump emacs.
  34.  
  35. With these setting it should not be any problem to dump EMACS 18.58
  36. successfully.
