  12. Just thought I'd drop a little happy note for everyone to read ...

  15. The other day (well ok, I guess it was a couple weeks ago) I was watching 
  16. the national news and they were doing a special on education/high schools
  17. in the U.S.  They had a story about a high school in California which had 
  18. recently taken a new principal who was turning the school into a music/
  19. performing arts haven.  They spent money on professional quality equipment
  20. and brought together a lot of good people to create a really positive, 
  21. productive environment for the students (kind of one of stories they show
  22. once in a while just to make you think the whole country isn't falling
  23. apart :-)

  25. Anyway, they were showing a shot of the music/recording facilities and guess
  26. what was sitting on the desk next to all the keyboards and stuff?  That's
  27. right, our friendly neighborhood ST with MIDI cables on the side.  Wish we
  28. had those when I was in high school!
