- Even though I no longer own an Atari 8-bit (I traded it in a
- swap for a Commodore clone of an XT). I remember a program I used
- called ANSITerm. It gave all of the ANSI functions except for extra
- large and highlighted text (it gives GOOD graphix). I now use ANSI
- on my MS-DOS system and I can tell you that ANSITerm is great, about as
- good as it can ever be.
-
- I used it with a small, sharp B&W TV and once I got used to it
- it was rather easy to use, just takes a wee bit of time and you are off to
- the races.
-
- Also there is a program I used called "VT100". It gave a good
- VT100 emulation. Even though it did not have the graphics of ANSITerm
- , the version I used (a special vers. for my SX-212 modem) a screen
- dump to my 1025 printer was a handy feature. Also, the letters on VT100
- where a bit easier to read.
-
-
-
- Note: ANSITerm also has 40 col. ascii mode and an ATACII mode
-
-
-
-
- NOTE:VT100 does NOT run on the 1200xl, but ANSITerm does

- If you are interested, drop me some E-mail and I will
- try to get it too you......
