- It is a custom driver problem... I have several friends here locally
- (sysops) who use the Supra, Practical Periphals 14.4's, and a dual standard
- with PT3 with no handshaking problems....

- however, when I attempted to use the Zoom V32/V42.bis 9600.... it simply
- would not handshake properly.... the modem was doing its part, the software
- was not recognizing it..... no matter what driver selected (of the ones
- available) or what init string used.... Insync wasn't very helpful, they
- said the drivers they have for the 2400 and Zoom Turbo would work fine, but
- admitted to not having tested the 9600......
