  13.         I'm having a bit of trouble in Pascal.  I need to get a number to
  14. and from a LineEdit (a real number, not an integer).  A LineEdit will only
  15. take strings, not numbers.  I looked in the TML Utilities source code,
  16. located with the rest of the source code for the Toolbox functions to be
  17. used and I found a command called String2Real.  Every time I use this
  18. though, I just get the same number, on any string that I use as input.  Is
  19. there some special syntax that needs to be in the string or something??? 
  20. The routine just doesn't seem to work.  Any other ways of solving this
  21. problem?
