- And apparently ProDOS 2.0.1 can be found in the system 6 disk at the same
- site.
-
- Which is completely useless to those of us without an Apple ][ gs.
-
- Does anybody have ANY idea how a person who has an unexpanded model 3 apple
- ][c with two 5-1/4 disk drives can extract a single file from an 800K -disk-
- archive? If anybody out there ever figures out a way for me to do that,
- tell me, because it's currently impossible. How the hell does apple expect
- me to do it?
-
- I'm gonna be completely blunt here. Whatever stupidity ever possessed apple
- to release it that way? The idea behind the name ProDOS -8- is 8-bit, right?
- So how come only the apple users who have a GS can get a hold of it? If you
- don't have a GS you can't get it, EVEN THOUGH it was designed to be used by
- the 8-bit apple ]['s. I hope apple has a whopper of an explanation...
-
- I'm gonna ask again: Can someone AT apple put ProDOS 2.0.1 on ftp.apple.com
- for those of us who have trouble fitting an 800K disk in a 140K floppy.
