  18. Hehe :) THis happens all the time ... it's a problem with the way Z-Modem
  19. works. If PT loses a char (either because you have the wrong driver, or your
  20. HD is so damned slow, or whatever), or if another error occurs (perhaps
  21. because you left V.42bis off), PT will send a ZRPOS. Now, the other
  22. side receives this and responds ... but there are still about 8k data
  23. in the other sides modem buffer, which PT gets (regardless of how
  24. often it sends ZRPOS) and which, eventually, lead to a transfer that is
  25. aborted. It seems Z-Modem just doesn't handle modern modems well :)

  31. I did not see a special driver ... but how about using the Supra V.32bis FAX
  32. (RTS/CTS) and customizing your Init message? Also use the Gs port driver
  33. that does unbuffered xmits ... I admit I don't know if that actually changes
  34. things, but oh well :)
