- Well _my_ printer does 300 cps in draft mode (perfect for program listings),
- but that's not the point -- you're right about text; it's the large bitmaps
- that I wanted the parallel card for. Maybe the Imagewriter just has a pokey
- or nonoptimizing controller, but my Panasonic zooms through the blank areas
- of the page at about 11K/sec and doesn't do too shabby on lines that print,
- either. When I'm printing half-page letters this really makes a difference.
