- What program do you need the font for? Different programs use different
- kinds of fonts. There are IIGS fonts, which can be used with Appleworks+
- Timeout, and there are Print Shop fonts, and hi-res bit map fonts, and
- Applesoft shape table fonts, and probably a number of others I've forgotten
- to mention.

- Aside from IIGS fonts, the only //e-compatible kana font I know of for sure
- is a hi-res bitmap katakana font that was on the "DOS Toolkit" disk way back
- in the Olden Days. The fonts from that disk were copied by a number of
- other programs...the most recent place I've seen it was on Beagle Bros'
- "Beagle Graphics" disk (a double-hires paint program--I believe it's now
- one of the "Beagle Oldies").
