- Hi All,
- HELP! we need to read in data files from diskettes which were
- written to by a program in DOS 3.3 which was encrypted by the DISK
- ENCRYPTION SYSTEM.
- The diskettes are currently readable only if the system was
- booted from an encrypted DOS 3.3 system. I've tried to encrypt a
- PRODOS system diskette but it wont boot.
-
- Does anyone have any info on decrypting these diskettes? Or on
- Victor Zirak?
-
- BTW - We've also got something called 'locksmith 4.1'. But
- we've long since lost any doco (or any programmers who were here
- 10 years ago.) It looks like it might be for recovering data from
- damaged diskettes, but I cant tell for sure. Anyone know what it
- does?
-
- Please respond by email as our newsnet feed does not deliver
- comp.sys.apple2
-
- Thanks, Eric Priebe - eprie@aa.hcia.com
