- I've got one for you sendmail gurus:
-
- Yesterday at noon sendmail started (intermittantly!) creating
- /usr/spool/mail entries owned by "daemon.daemon.none" instead
- if the usual "$USER.mail.none", thus $USER does not have
- rights to read his/her mail. Our administrator is stumped.
-
- Acl on /usr/spool/mail has UP for initial files, owner and group.
- Sendmail on gateway is running as root.wheel.none .
- Admin says that nothing in the registry has changed. /etc/passwd
- files are all 0 length of type "passwd"
-
- Ideas please! (email if you don't mind). Thanks.
