- I'm trying to bring a DN3010 back to life that sat on the shelf
- for about a year. i need to invol the disk, which is a 170mg
- drive, nodestat -config of a similar machine says its a MSD-170M.
- when i run invol on it, it says its unknown disk type 507(?) and
- asks if it should read the parameters from the pv label. i say sure
- and it fails to read the pv label and asks if i want to manual
- enter the parameters.
-
- What are the parameters of the MSD-170M or where can i find them out?
-
- this drive was running some version SR9.x when it was taken offline
- so i assumne the drive is still ok and just needs to be invol'ed to
- run SR10.x
