  23. But even before the summer SAS has stated that no C++ work was in progress.
  24. Further, the also stated that no C++ work would even start until (at least)
  25. 6.0 was out the door.  And at that, the statement was not a committment
  26. that C++ work was going to start at that time, but that it was a statememt
  27. about when it wouldn't start.  Still yet, they had not made an official
  28. announcements of such, and hence one possibility is that there may never
  29. be a SAS/C++.  Let's wait for them to say something explicit one way or
  30. the other.  In the interim, there are two C++'s for AmigaDOS:
  31. Comeau C++ 3.0 With Templates, and g++.

  33. In the unlikely event that wires got cross: SAS/C 6.0 has been announced
  34. and is expected to start being sold soon (next week from what I hear).
