- But even before the summer SAS has stated that no C++ work was in progress.

- 6.0 was out the door. And at that, the statement was not a committment
- that C++ work was going to start at that time, but that it was a statememt
- about when it wouldn't start. Still yet, they had not made an official
- announcements of such, and hence one possibility is that there may never
- be a SAS/C++. Let's wait for them to say something explicit one way or
- the other. In the interim, there are two C++'s for AmigaDOS:
- Comeau C++ 3.0 With Templates, and g++.

- In the unlikely event that wires got cross: SAS/C 6.0 has been announced
- and is expected to start being sold soon (next week from what I hear).
