  11. Commodore Canada recently officially announced their internal (probably
  12. 2.5" IDE like on the A600) Hard Drive for the CDTV.  This was broadcast to
  13. the world in my "break" of the officiality of this and the DCTV display
  14. board for the CDTV and the official acknowledgement of the A4000.  I also
  15. posted that the next version of AmigaVision will be called "AmigaVision 3.0
  16. Professional".  I discussed some other things too, including the fact that
  17. the AA ChipSet was officially recognised as existing, though Commodore reps
  18. were as tight as ever regarding the actual specs.  I now have the specs on
  19. at least some of the video system (though I can't leak it without risking
  20. getting my source in trouble who wanted confidentiality) but I can
  21. confidently say to those who're wanting a LOT more colour, that you need
  22. not worry.  I know nothing about whether the blitter is faster, the quality
  23. of the audio or the number of channels, etc.  We will all know on Sept. 12
  24. hopefully as Commodore plans to show the A4000 to the world there at WOC
  25. Pasadena.

  28. Commodore reps called my dealer the next day after I posted the original
